Indicative list of potentially eligible schemes
This list has been compiled on the basis of information supplied to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) by scheme representatives for the purposes of the Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) data collection exercise carried out between October and December 2004. Therefore it may not include schemes about which DWP may have been provided with information either before or after those dates. In addition, the list does not include any scheme about which DWP was provided with insufficient, inadequate or inconsistent information during the exercise. The names of schemes that appear on the list were those provided by scheme professionals. Schemes may be known by different names. Any clarification on this point should be sought from relevant scheme trustees.
The information DWP has received about these schemes has not been verified. Accordingly, inclusion on, or omission from, this list does not determine whether the scheme would be a qualifying pension scheme for the purposes of the FAS. Further information will be required from those schemes which are included on the list in order to determine that those schemes may be qualifying pension schemes for the purposes of the FAS. Similarly, schemes which are not included on the list will be given the opportunity to supply the requisite information in due course. This list will be amended accordingly and names may be transferred to other lists as further information is received and schemes considered for FAS.
