Pathways to Work
Between 80–90 per cent of people coming onto incapacity benefits tell us they want to get back into work. The Pathways to Work process will help them become independent and earn a living by targeting some of their health-related barriers and by providing financial support.
Since April 2008, Pathways support has been available throughout Great Britain. Jobcentre Plus led Pathways to Work covers 40 per cent of the country and the remainder of the country has Pathways to Work delivered by external contractors.
